Naran is a charismatic Nepali local who has been helping us with tours since his teens. Fun loving and diligent, he loves showing off his ‘backyard’ to travellers from around the globe, and is highly skilled in organising resources required for all levels of trekking within the Annapurna range. When not out trekking, he is hard at work managing his own Guesthouse and organising home stays with other Nepalese families. Having a true local is invaluable when it comes to the details of Nepal.

Mick’s ‘day job’ is that of Detective Sergeant with Victoria Police. He first travelled to Nepal in 2001 and fell in love with the place and its people. 60+ visits later there isn’t any village or trek in the Annapurna range of the Himalaya’s he hasn’t been to, and he has developed an extensive network amongst enthusiastic locals he can call on to assist the intrepid traveller. Having taken hundreds of adrenalin junkies of all ages and levels of fitness to his favourite Nepali haunts, he now joins us as a regular consultant and guide.
“It’s the details that make an adventure, the things you experience on a personal level, memories to last a lifetime!”
